  ALL HANDS ON DECK - Stewarding Our St. Stephen’s  . . . All congregants, are encourage to attend the St. Stephen’s Workday on Saturday, September 28, 2019. It’s essential that as many committee chairs, representatives of other groups of the church, and congregants- including summer-time congregants still in residence attend. The effort will be to develop the Narrative Budget for the church, an important step in Stewardship and an undertaking the congregation voted to pursue at the AGM. Participation is key. The day will begin at 8 AM in Tuck Hall. Refreshments and nourishment will be provided.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

St. Stephen's will be participating in an interdenominational Alpha
Program, which will start on Wednesday, the 18th of September. This 10 week course (concluding on Wednesday, 20 November) will be a basic introduction to the Christian faith. Participating churches/parishes, in addition to St. Stephen's, are Chester United Baptist Church, Aenon Baptist Church, and Grace Anglican Church (Chester Basin). Mark your calendars, pray about attending, and for a friend or neighbour who might like to attend. More details to follow!
