ST. STEPHEN’S CHRISTMAS BAZAAR - keep your calenders marked for Saturday, November 22nd for St. Stephen’s Hospitality Annual Christmas Bazaar!  Donations are needed from Parishioners of books, Christmas items and baked goods.  The bazaar doors will open at 11 am on Saturday,  22nd of November, and lunch will be served from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm.  Lunch will include a variety of soups, homemade bread, apple crisp, tea & coffee.  Adults $8.00, children under 10, $5.00

MISSIONS TO SEAFARERS SHOEBOX PROJECT - every year the Missions to Seafarers are very appreciative of our participation in their Shoebox Project.  Approximately 2000 shoe boxes full of gifts for seafarers from all over the world are distributed by the Mission in Halifax.  Many men and women arrive at our port in winter ill equipped to survive in the cold and with no money.  These boxes are filled by church members throughout the province and the sailors are overwhelmed by the generosity of Nova Scotians.  This is likely the only gift these folks will receive.  In the church vestibule we have placed a list of needed items to go in the box which you can take home as a checklist.  If you don’t have your own shoe box, please take a box from the vestibule. Please return your boxes at the Dec. 7th services.

Please don’t wrap your box-–tie with string or ribbon so they can be checked for security reasons.

We now hold Messy Church on the last Sunday of each month at 11am. This month, our Messy Church will be hosted by St. George's, East River, at the Union Hall, past the Church building on the road to Blandford on Sunday, March 30th. This is the 125th anniversary year of St. George's Church Building and the International Year of the Family. As we gather as parish family, this will be  a great opportunity to focus on "Family". We will have our usual fun worship, food, activities, and fellowship. Everyone is welcome!
