Second Sunday of Lent
From the Gospel …"If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it."
Reflection Questions: Mission = Sharing in God's loving purposes for the wholeness of humanity and all creation.
Is this how you and your congregation define mission?
This way of life sounds like a conundrum or riddle. We're being asked to give up the very things we hope to gain or keep.
What does this look like for you? Your church/parish?
How is this reflected in your mission? Or is it?
