ANNOUNCEMENTS
SEDER SUPPER: 4:30 – 6:30
pm on Sunday, 20 March in Tuck Hall.
Please call or email Parish Office
if you wish to attend this meal.
If there is interest in the Parish,
a suggested donation of $10,
or whatever you can afford, will
help to cover costs.
The Seder Meal is a formal family
dinner at which the Haggadah,
the story of the Exodus when God
delivered the Jewish people
out of slavery in Egypt by passing
through the Red Sea.
The meal is held yearly at the
beginning of Passover.
Symbolic foods help to illustrate
the story. The meal is lamb
(with potatoes, veggies, and
dessert).
Four small cups of wine (or grape
juice) are consumed
as part of the
ritual.
This meal is part of our salvation
history,
a meal Jesus celebrated with his
disciples.
