MUSICAL FRIENDS:
will be starting up again on Mon, 12 Sept in Tuck Hall. 
Times for each group are as follows:
 Vintage Voices – 1:00 pm every Monday that School is in.
Musical Friends Choir: 2:00 pm – youth will be met at Chester District School
Musical Friends Band: 3:00 pm – Middle School youth find their own way but will be fed.
Tuneful Tots: 4:00 pm – learning new songs as well as singing and dancing
to the traditional nursery rhymes.
 All Welcome!

SCANS INFO SESSION
The Seniors’ College Association of Nova Scotia (a non profit organisation
offering courses taught by Seniors to Seniors (50+) will hold an information session
on Tues, 13 Sept at 2:00 pm in the Tyler Grant Room. 
Two new six week courses  will start on Oct 11 and 12. 
The annual $155.25 membership fee allows attendance
at any number of courses per year – 3 semesters –
with locations in Chester, Mahone Bay, Liverpool, HRM and Truro. 
All Welcome!
 
SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MEETING
to take place on Tues, 13 Sept at 7:00 pm in the Tyler Grant Room.

VINTAGE VOICES AT SHOREHAM  
starting up again every Thursday at 2:30 pm
from 15 September at Shoreham Village.

CELEBRATION OF NEW MINISTRY 
Thursday, 15 Sept, 7:00 pm at St. Stephen’s Church. 
All are welcome and encouraged to attend!  This service will formally mark a new time of ministry in our parish
with Fr. Ian’s induction as our Rector.  The Covenant in Ministry for our Parish is available at worship today. 
 Please take a copy with you, and feel free to direct any questions you have about it to the Rector and Wardens. 
It will be signed at the Celebration in September

PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

SHOREHAM VILLAGE – VOLUNTEER TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
The following courses are available for volunteers at Shoreham Village. 
1.  Feeding with Sensitivity – 21 Sept, 2016 from 2:00-3:30 pm,
     in the Training Room. 
2.  Palliative Care Training – on 20 Sept, 4 Oct, 18 Oct,  1 Nov,
     15 Nov, 13 Dec and TBA for Jan 2017 from 2:15-4:15 pm
3.  Dementia Education – 19 Sept, 2016 from 4:00 -5:00 pm and
     4 Oct, 2016 from 3:30 - 4:30 pm.
