This Year instead of the Chester Municipal Relay for Life event the Canadian
Cancer Society is introducing a new program, "Cancer Fighters"
> > as the former Relay Committee we are hosting
> A Night of Remembrance
> We are going to be Remembering our loved ones that have passed, Remembering and honoring our cancer survivors and celebrating with them and Remembering
as cancer fighters to fight and donate to the cause for Hope and a Cure.
> A suggested donation of $2.00 at the door will give you a ticket to win a door prize.
The event is Sat. June 15th at 7:00pm at The Chester Legion.
> All welcome please come and enjoy an evening of food, laughter, remembering, door prizes, entertainment & silent auction.
> Any cancer survivor that would like to attend please register by calling a committee member or 902-275-5966
> A short Luminary ceremony will also take place with which you can buy a Luminary for $5.00 in loving memory or in honor of a loved one
> Luminaries can be purchased at the event or prepurchased at the New Ross / Chester Basin Credit
> Unions, at the Hair Salon at #6 Pig Loop Road or by calling 275-5966.
