It’s essential that as many committee chairs, representatives of other groups of the church, and congregants- including summer-time congregants still in residence attend. The effort will be to develop the Narrative Budget for the church, an important step in Stewardship and an undertaking the congregation voted to pursue at the AGM. Participation is key. The day will begin at 8 AM in Tuck Hall. Refreshments and nourishment will be provided.

QUESTIONS OF LIFE AND FAITH
Great News!
Five
area churches have joined together to run Alpha,
starting mid-September.
Alpha creates a space where people are
excited to bring their friends for a conversation about faith, life and God.
Starting
on Wednesday, 18 September at Chester Baptist Church, and running over 10 weeks
at various local churches (including St. Stephen’s), Alpha allows anyone to explore life, faith and God in a friendly,
open and informal environment.
In
each session there’s food, a short video talk, and discussion in small groups.
How you can take part: Alpha has consistently proven to be an effective way to introduce
people to a lasting faith in Christ. You can take part three ways:
1) Pray for five people you know to be open to attend Alpha. And invite them to join you each week.
2) Go deeper in your own faith journey. Join in the weekly conversations
as we explore the questions of life and faith.
Questions about Alpha? Speak with the Rector.
