ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
JERUSALEM SUNDAY APPEAL - The Penman Clinic is a community clinic on the West Bank, associated with St Matthew’s Parish,  which provides services for all people in the area, regardless of faith. It is located in the town of Zebabdeh (close to biblical borders of Samaria and Galilee and would have been known to Mary and Jesus.) This facility has been selected by the Anglican archbishop in Jerusalem, The Most Rev. Suheil Dawani, as the one which would most benefit from support for Jerusalem Sunday.  Gifts can be made through the parish in envelopes marked ‘Penman Clinic’.
 
INTEGRITY EUCHARIST - The regular Integrity Eucharist will be held on Sunday, 17 May at 4:00 pm at the Cathedral Church of All Saints, 1330 Martello Road, Halifax. 
 
ORDER OF ST. LUKE HEALING SERVICE – A service will be held at the Western Shore & Area Recreation Association, 6485 Hwy 3, Western Shore on Sunday, May 24 at 6:45 pm.  Everyone welcome, bring a friend.  Prayer teams will be available for laying on of hands and anointing with oil for the healing of body, mind and spirit.  For more information contact Peggy Sawler 902-627-2262, Berit Andersen 902-275-5501 or Rosalie Dorey 902-275-5782.
 
MUSICAL FRIENDS - No class on Monday, 18 May due to the Holiday.  Classes will resume at  2:00  pm and there will be a concert on Monday, 25 May in Tuck Hall from 3:30-4:00 pm. All welcome.
 
BIBLE TALK - from 10:30-11:30 am from Wednesday, May 20, in the Tyler Grant Room.  All welcome.
 
S.C.A.N.S. - ‘Microbiology’ - Cancelled for Wednesday, May 20 in the Tyler Grant Room - classes will resume on May 27 for this course..
S.C.A.N.S. - ‘The Rector’s Wife’ - Friday, May 22 from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Tyler Grant Room.
 
ST. STEPHEN’S CHOIR PRACTICE - will be held on Tuesday, 19 May at 7:00 pm in Tuck Hall.
 
SHOREHAM VILLAGE: If you would like to learn more about volunteering at Shoreham, the second Volunteer Orientation Sessions is planned for May 27 from 2:00-3:00 pm in the OT Room.
 
BUDBUSTER FAIR  - Chester District School will be holding its Budbuster Fair on Saturday, 30 May from 10am-1pm.  All welcome to join the fun!
 
RELAY FOR  LIFE - Registrations are being taken for teams and volunteers for the 10th Chester Municipal Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life to be held from 6:00pm to midnight on June 19 at Chester Area Middle School. (CAMS).  Orders are also being taken for luminary candles ($5.00 each).  Please contact Sheila Hirtle 275-5720 or 275-5966.  Any survivors wishing to attend the relay  are asked to call Gerri Allen 275-3817 to register.
