Food Bank:  All contributions are very gratefully received.            

 Annual Shoebox Campaign for the Mission to Seafarers 2019  We are asked to fill a shoebox

with articles listed below. These boxes are distributed to foreign sailors who come to our Province’s

 Halifax Port during December. Many of these men and women come from warm countries into our cold

 climate ill prepared and too lightly clothed. The gifts are always so welcomed and appreciated. 1800 to 2000

boxes are gathered from all over the Diocese. We have participated in this project for many years and  hope to

continue. As an alternative, you may join a friend to fill a box or gather some of the items in a bag which can be

added to boxes at the Mission. Suggested items will be listed on boxes.                                                                                

 Volunteers needed to visit Syrian family (2 parents and three older children).  The Alouch family is lonely and needs visitors.   

 If you can spare a couple of hours a week, please call Dawn 902.275.5005.  Expect to be fed yummy Syrian treats!
