MISSIONS TO SEAFARERS SHOEBOX PROJECT - every year the Missions to Seafarers are very appreciative of our participation in their Shoebox Project.  Approximately 2000 shoe boxes full of gifts for seafarers from all over the world are distributed by the Mission in Halifax.  Many men and women arrive at our port in winter ill equipped to survive in the cold and with no money.  These boxes are filled by church members throughout the province and the sailors are overwhelmed by the generosity of Nova Scotians.  This is likely the only gift these folks will receive.  In the church vestibule we have placed a list of needed items to go in the box which you can take home as a checklist.  If you don’t have your own shoe box, please take a box from the vestibule. Please return your boxes at the Dec. 7th services.

Please don’t wrap your box-–tie with string or ribbon so they can be checked for security reasons.
